RAC Veteran Car Run

Sunday 2nd November

On the 14th November 1896, the 'Emancipation Run' from London to Brighton took place to celebrate the passing of the new 'Locomotives on the Highway act' which raised the speed limit from 4mph to 14mph!

In celebration of this event the RAC Veteran Car Run takes place every year, where vehicles recreate the run, but are limited to 20mph.

Successful finishers are rewarded with a 'Finishers Medal' if they arrive in Brighton before 4.30pm

Family Fireworks Spectacular

Saturday 8th November

Fantastic fireworks display suitable for all ages. Food stalls will be available along with places to buy your glow sticks. Gates open at 5pm and the fireworks start at 6.30pm.
