Brighton and Hove Sand Sculpture Festival

8th April -

 

This year's Sand Sculpture Festival theme is musical. More than 2000 tonnes of sand will be skilfully carved into sculptures of iconic artists and historical events at Black Rock, near the marina.

 

 

Artists' Open Houses Festival 2013

May

 

Every May, artists and makers in Brighton open their houses and studios up to the public, providing art lovers with the chance to browse and buy original artwork direct from the artists themselves. The festival enables visitors to also see and purchase jewellery, ceramics and textiles, paintings, sculpture, printmaking, photography and many other media as well as the opportunity to chat to the artists and makers about their work.

 

 

Brighton Fringe

4 May - 2nd June

Extended due to popular demand, Brighton Fringe. An eclectic collection of cabaret, comedy, dance, literature and music events. Please see website for details. Like the Brighton Festival but a little edgier
